Game: Marvel Heroes 2016 on GeForce NOW

Sling TV (now with more live, local sports)

App: Sling TV (now with more live, local sports)

It used to be that live, local sports was the exclusive domain of the cable and satellite companies. Not anymore! In addition to PlayStation Vue, Sling TV is now airing live, local sports in select regions. Sling TV offers two levels of service, Sling orange ($20 / month) and Sling Blue ($25 / month). Your best bet is to head over to Sling’s web site to figure out which plan offers the live, local sports in your area.

Movie: “Moonlight” streaming on Amazon Video, Google Play Movies & TV, and Vudu

Directed by Barry Jenkins, “Moonlight”is the award-winning film based on the previously unpublished play “In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue.” The movie follows three stages in the life of a young man as he struggles with the difficulties he faces with his own sexuality and identity. “Moonlight” is currently streaming on Amazon Video, Google Play Movies & TV, and Vudu.

TV show: “The Americans” on FXNOW

Set during the height of the Cold War in the 1980s, “The Americans” is the story of KGB agents Elizabeth (Keri Russell) and Philip Jennings (Matthew Rhys) who pose as an American married couple in a northern Virginia suburb of Washington, D.C. This get interesting as their neighbor Stan Beeman (Noah Emmerich), is an FBI counterintelligence agent. Season 5 of “The Americans” can be streamed on FXNOW.
