We’re pleased to announce the release of six unique Indie games today on SHIELD. Lumo, Lumini, Poncho, Cloudbuilt, Syndrome, and Aragami are all available in the GeForce NOW store, and you can grab them at significant discounts for a limited time.
The first four titles represent a mix of platform and adventure games from Rising Star Games, which has published more than 100 games worldwide across all genres. These titles are more casual and represent good fun for the entire family.
Aragami and Syndrome are aimed at a more mature gaming audience and provide a more intense experience. Lince Works SL’s Aragami is a third-person action/stealth game, while Syndrome is a sci-fi survival/horror game from publisher Camel 101. Both of these titles have been accepted into NVIDIA’s Indie Spotlight Program, which highlights quality titles from smaller publishers for our GeForce gaming audience .
Lumo is a contemporary take on the old-school isometric platform recipe, and is aimed at anyone that enjoys a challenging adventure. Explore, jump and puzzle-solve your way through four distinct zones made up of more than 400 rooms - each holding a challenge you’ll need to overcome to advance. Veteran gamers will enjoy the many hidden easter eggs and homages to videogames of the 80s and 90s, including six hidden mini-games. While new, or casual players will enjoy the simple joys of discovery, challenge and adventure.
Lumo is rated E for Everyone by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). It is available in the GeForce NOW store for $9.99, which is 50% the regular retail price of $19.99. This price is good through December 19 and includes unlimited streaming on SHIELD and a digital download code for Steam.
Lumini, meanwhile, serves up a adventure experience that’s meant to be a relaxing, and soothing, good time. After vanishing for thousands of years a peaceful and innocent race of creatures known as the Lumini return to their home world to find it shifted to a hostile environment. Explore the world with your swarm of fellow Lumini and attempt to restore balance to your beloved planet. Collect energy to grow your swarm and then split it in two to double your resources - the bigger your swarm, or swarms, get, the more abilities they gain. Evolve, discover and solve clever puzzles in an adventure game that’s not quite like any other you’ve played before!
Lumini is recommended for players age ten and over, and you can nab it in the GeForce NOW store for $6.49, which is 50% off the regular retail price of $12.99. This price is good through December 19 and includes unlimited streaming on SHIELD and a digital download code for Steam.
Next up is a colorful, scrolling platform game in which you play as Poncho, a robot in search of a new purpose in existence after humanity’s disappearance. You must navigate your way through a series of open-world levels, in the vein of Super Mario Bros., to uncover the mystery behind what happened to the world. The puzzles, clever gameplay and beautiful soundtrack combine to deliver a classic, and addictive, gaming experience.
Poncho is rated E10+ by the ESRB and is recommended for all players over the age of ten. You can grab it in the GeForce NOW store for $3.99, which is 60% off the regular retail price of $9.99. Cloudbuilt is a third-person action/platform game that focuses on speed, precision and freedom. An aragami is a vengeful spirit that desperate people can summon to help them out of a bind. You play the role of this spirit in Aragami as you fight to help free a girl imprisoned by the forces of evil in the fortress city of Kyuryu. With the ability to become invisible by creating your own shadows, as well as teleport between shadows, stealth is your best weapon. Sneak up on enemies and unleash your repertoire of ninja combat mores on them before they know you’re there! You’ll unlock an array of powers as you play, which you can then combine into even more deadly attacks.
Aragami is available in the GeForce NOW store for $13.99, which is 30% off the regular retail price of $19.99. This price includes a digital download code for Steam and unlimited streaming on SHIELD. Aragami is rated M for Mature by the ESRB and is recommended for players over the age of 17.
In Syndrome, you awaken from cryosleep dazed and confused aboard the starship Valkenburg, an exploration vessel deep in space on a research mission. Your crew mates are missing and you start to find bodies - and whomever, or whatever, killed them is still around (probably). You’ll have to use evasion, stealth and any weapon you can find to survive while you search for clues and try to piece together what’s going on aboard the Valkenburg.
