The United States has been invaded, and all states west of the Mississippi occupied, by the Korean People’s Army. Grab your SHIELD and join the first-person fight to regain the country’s freedom in Homefront, released today on NVIDIA GRID™.
Launch the game and you become former U.S. Marine Corps pilot Robert Jacobs, who is rescued by the resistance on his way to “re-education camp” in Colorado. You join up with the rebels for a series of brutal missions in gritty urban environments. The struggle gradually escalates into a full-scale battle for control of San Francisco, and hopefully, the beginning of the end for the Korean People’s Army.
Praised by critics for its well-developed setting, and at times gut-wrenching depiction of America’s raw struggle for survival, Homefront’s story shares many parallels with the original Red Dawn movie, as well as its recent modern reboot.
To play, navigate to the GRID Games menu within SHIELD Hub, select Homefront from the list of available titles, and join the fight!
