Ever wondered what it would be like to possess bionic powers? Now you can find out in Bionic Commando, which is available to play immediately on NVIDIA SHIELD. Just connect to GRID to play.
Capcom’s original Bionic Commando debuted more than 20 years ago and became an instant action classic. This modern sequel is an action/adventure mashup that shares the same name, and puts you in the boots of Major Nathan “RAD” Spencer one more time.
For unknown reasons, a terrorist organization called Bio-Reign has detonated a bomb that has irradiated most of Ascension City. You’re inserted into the city and tasked with using your guile—and the powers of your bionic arm—to uncover, and put an end to, Bio-Reign’s plans.
You’ll gain new special abilities for your cybernetic arm as you progress, such as being able to suspend enemies in mid-air to shoot while they’re helpless. And then there are the stock bionic powers you’d expect like power punches, being able to throw massive objects, and executing powerful jumps and swings with your grapple hook.
To play, navigate to the GRID Games menu within SHIELD Hub, select Bionic Commando in the list of available titles, and become bionic!
