Now Streaming on NVIDIA SHIELD: Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara

Thanks to the backing of one of the most beloved role-playing universes in existence, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara is far from your typical arcade-style beat ‘em up. It’s got character, story, dragons and more, and it’s now streaming on SHIELD. Just connect to GRID™ to play!

Chronicles of Mystara bundles two classic arcade brawlers from the 1990s—Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom and Shadow Over Mystara—and remasters them with HD graphics and in-game challenges that you can try to complete solo, or with up to three of your friends in local co-op play. You’ll find the 2D scrolling action is reminiscent of classics like Golden Axe and Double Dragon.

Play as one of four character classes (Fighter, Dwarf, Cleric, and Elf), and enjoy fighting well-known D&D beasts such as Liches, Beholders, Flame Salamanders, and more. Magic spells, a leveling system, special abilities, and branching paths make for a deeper experience than most brawlers out there.

So grab some friends and extra controllers and fire-up Chronicles of Mystara by accessing the Stream Games hub on Android TV, or by navigating to the GRID Games menu within SHIELD Hub on your portable or tablet.

The GRID Games library includes 56 PC games that you can play on SHIELD devices, and we’re adding new games every week. Join the conversation on Twitter and use the hashtag #SHIELDTuesday to tell us which PC games you’d like us to add next.

GRID is NVIDIA’s on-demand service that streams a library of popular PC games to SHIELD devices. A GRID membership, which is free to all SHIELD owners until 31st July, 2015, is required to play GRID games on SHIELD. Go here to learn more.
