Dead Trigger Resurrects Zombies on Tegra 3

By Hassan Anjum - Fri, Jun 1, 2012

Following their recent blockbuster hit gaming title Shadowgun THD, Madfinger Games is back with a new first-person shooter. And Dead Trigger for NVIDIA Tegra 3 provides an experience that will give console gamers reason to pause.

Here’s the gist: the world has collapsed due to a strange infection that turns regular people into zombies, and it’s up to you and your arsenal of weapons to take down the undead masses.

The tablet touch controls are intuitive, with on screen buttons for movement, shoot and reload. You can also connect a game controller to your Tegra 3 device and you’ve got a game console in your hands. Hook up your mobile device straight to your TV via HDMI, and have your go at zombies on a big-screen TV.

If you had any doubt that Tegra 3 devices are blurring the lines between PC-quality games and mobile gaming, Dead Trigger will set you straight.

The game looks spectacular and the degree to which Dead Trigger utilizes Tegra 3, the world’s only 4-PLUS-1 quad-core mobile processor, is mind-blowing. You get exclusive effects on Tegra 3 not available on the standard version of the game: ragdoll physics, volumetric fog, specular lighting, and enhanced fluid and water.
